The practice
Everything we do serves one aim: a process you can defend — to your investors, your risk committee, or simply to yourself at 3 a.m.
Ideas earn their place with evidence. We frame hypotheses, source and clean the data, and run backtests that are honest about costs, capacity and regime change — then tell you plainly whether the edge survives.
A second pair of eyes with no position of its own. We review strategies, execution quality and risk controls, benchmark your setup against current practice, and give written, actionable opinions — never sales talk.
From notebook to production. We help you design, build and operate the systems your strategies run on — data pipelines, signal engines, risk gates, execution and monitoring — sized to your desk, not to a bank's budget.
The playbook
A bishop crosses the board on one colour, in straight diagonals. So do we: four moves, each with a written deliverable, no detours.

Hypotheses become experiments. Data is sourced, cleaned and versioned; backtests are run with honest costs; results arrive as a tear-sheet you can interrogate line by line.
We help you assemble the machinery: pipelines, signal engines, risk gates, execution links, monitoring. Built beside your team so the knowledge stays when we leave.
Markets drift; systems decay. We stay on call for reviews, post-mortems and periodic health checks, so the edge you built keeps earning its keep.
